Campaign Information

Mark Broin's District 4 Commissioner campaign was focused on providing residents, business owners and property owners of District 4 with as much general and background information on him as possible.

The same focus applied to Mark's campaign for Lake Superior Independent School District 0381 School Board (School Voting District 6).

Mark's name may not be a  local fixture, but he has been a Lake County property owner for 16 years and a resident for over 2 years. Gaining name recognition with many of you is a challenge, but one he feels has been well worth his efforts.

It was his intent to introduce himself to you in a very cost effective and "targeted" manner. There are nearly 1,200 District 4 registered voter addresses in Lake County. Reaching each and every voter is a daunting, time-intensive and potentially very expensive task. He did his best to use all the modern tools available to him to reach each and every one of you in some way or another. You may have see his signage on roadways and on your neighbor's property, you may read about him in the newspaper, you may have received a letter from him in your mail, you may have seen him on television, you may have met him personally as he visited homes and businesses in the community, or you may have heard about Mark from your friends and neighbors who supported his efforts.

Whatever the case may be, If you liked what you saw and heard about Mark, please let your Lake County District 4 friends and neighbors know. Tell them about this web site, and encourage them to visit and learn more.

In this day and age of expensive political fund-raising, Mark made an effort to keep the costs of his primary District 4 Commissioner campaign to a minimum. He was able to accomplish this because of the help he received from volunteers, the efficiency of modern communications technology, and improvements in information distribution methods. He will do his best to bring this same financial focus and open communications integrity to all his efforts in Lake County.

He did not solicit or accept any financial contributions to his "August 10, 2010 Primary Election" campaign for District 4 commissioner.  Mark asked only for your informed vote, which he believed was the best investment you could make in the future of Lake County. (Financial Informationl)

Nor has Mark accepted any contributions for his School District 6, Lake Superior Independent School District 0381, campaign.

Please make a committed effort to vote in the General Election for the candidate of your choice.
